Must read a nice article published in Economics Time:

"The controversy began after IPL commissioner Lalit K. Modi said on his twitter account that Tharoor had asked him to suppress information about Pushkar getting a stake in the IPL Kochi franchise." I suspect - Lalit Modi is being mentored by some one :) .. Oh ! , where is Sharad Pawar :P

Few reasons why Shashi Tharoor had to resign
1. The Congress felt that they were defending an odd situation. Very clear that the IPL was not its own baby and by praising Shashi Tharoor it may be indirectly defending the IPL. Very obvious reason that why to give opportunity for the Opposition parties over the Tharoor issue.
2. Tharoor is still a teenager in Indian heavyweight politics. He has a low support base in his Thiruvananthapuram constituency and so like in Delhi. Sacrificing Tharoor would hardly create any fear within the Government or the Congress.
3. Confusion whether he lied or tried to play shrewd? Was he a 'mentor' to the Kochi team or a negotiator for Sunanda Pushkar?
4. Why should a minister be involved in promoting a team?

Shashi Tharoor - Victim of Indian Politics

I live in India, and I am disappointed again and again with the way Indian Politics is taking devastating route.
From last many days, all news channels are flashing SHASHI THAROOR news thoroughout the day. Look at CNN IBN, Star News, Aaj Tak, NDTV, TIMES NOW, or any other .. all are singing the same song.
I too, thought of contributing on web. Keep reading!
